We would like to nominated our father Scott McArthur for your KKBN hard working man contest. He is a hard working father who has always provided for our family, owning this own company McArthur Construction. He has always put in countless hours in at work, even with his physical ailments. He has had two back surgeries and during this past year he has been diagnosed with a really bad case of Rheumatoid Arthritis, especially in his knees. The arthritis gives his excruciating pain with every step. He has to wear durable braces on his legs at all times. Being his own boss, he doesn’t get sick days. He can not afford to go days without working, especially with the economic times.
He is not only a hard working father but a loving grandfather to his only grandson Colt. Even after a long day at work, he is never too tired to play or spend time with Colt. It’s hard for my sister and I to see our father go through these hard times of trying to keep his business afloat. But he always keeps a smile on his face and pushes through whatever obstacle is thrown his way.
We feel that nominating him for this award would be a great way to show him how much we love him and appreciate all that he has done for our family. We have always looked up to our daddy and he has played a large role in the women we are today. His integrity, work ethics, and perseverance makes him a perfect candidate for your hard working man contest.
