Mama has agreed to give us her Corn Bread Dressing Recipe…enjoy
Half c. Margarine
3 c. chopped celery
2 c. onion
1/4 c. sage
1 T. Black Pepper
2 skillets of corn bread
6 Eggs Well Beaten
8 c. Chicken Broth
In large bowl, crumble cornbread
Sautee celery and onions for about 4 minutes
Add all ingredients to cornbread, mix well
Pour into two 13by9by2in. pans
Bake in 400 degree preheated oven for 45 minutes
Mama’s CORNBREAD RECIPE
Preheat oven to 450
2 c. self rising cornmeal
1 c. milk
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. veg. oil
Mix well and pour into well greased HOT iron skillet
Bake at 450 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown
