An Unsung Hero is someone who donates their time and/or talents to a cause without the expectation of recognition or reward. The Adventure Café and Grill’s Unsung Hero Award is our chance to shine a light on those who make meaningful contributions to causes in the Mother Lode. Joshua Heller
Joshua is a retired fire department captain and highway worker. He gives his time and help to anyone that needs it including plowing driveways for people who can’t afford it or are elderly for free of charge. Last year Joshua performed CPR on a man in at the post office and saved his life. Joshua would give the shirt off his own back to make sure someone else had one. Joshua truly exemplifies an Unsung Hero.
