Tater: 1 year old, Male, Min Pin/Dachshund mix, 12 pounds Sweet Tater is shy when he first says hello to new people, but is friendly enough to want to be friends. Give this cutie pie a few minutes to feel safe, and he’ll come up to you for attention and walks. Tater would do great with a mellow household, as he likes to play, but isn’t overly rambunctious. He enjoys his time outside and would do great with someone that likes to take walks around the block or lounge in the backyard on nice days.
-
-
Teddy: 8 month old, Male, Aussie/Golden Retriever mix, 50 pounds Like his name implies, he’s a big ole teddy bear who craves human interaction and attention. Teddy is still a puppy and is learning some basics, like not jumping up to say hello, but overall has a good-spirited personality. Teddy has been around a few other dogs and would likely enjoy a dog friend in his new home. If you’re looking for a younger dog that you can train and blend with your family, Teddy could be your boy!

-
Ross: 3 months, Male, Domestic Shorthair/Tuxedo Ross is the life of the party! This boy loves to hang out on shoulders (maybe your head if you’ll let him!). If he’s not running around the kitten room playing and exploring, he can be found snuggled in the cat trees for a nap with his friends.
-
-
Abel: 3 year old, Male, Basset Hound/Bulldog mix, 40 pounds Abel is the cutest short-stack with the adorable blocky head of a Bulldog and the short legs of a Basset Hound. This boy loves to be fawned over and will wiggle with excitement when you say hello. He does great on his walks and might do well with a dog friend, too! Abel will definitely be one of the more unique looking dogs on the block and is an overall joy to be around. Come see him for yourself!
-
-

-
Asher: 2 month old, Male, Shorthair Tuxedo Little guy Asher loves playing with his kitten friends and relaxing on cat trees. He can be a bit of a wallflower with people at first, but give him some time, and he’ll be climbing in your lap to say hello.

Sassy: 1 year old, Female, Shepherd mix, 60 pounds Sassy is very friendly with people and has made friends with several dogs at the shelter. She wants to play, play, play and would love to go home with you! She enjoys walks in low-traffic neighborhoods and will melt in your lap once she’s home and relaxed.
-
-
Aspen: 2 month old, Female, Longhair Tuxedo mix Gorgeous Aspen is all dressed up in her finest and ready to meet you! She can be unsure of strangers at first, but if you sit with her, she’ll soon be crawling in your lap for attention and a warm place to nap. She is the smallest of her litter and might stay petite as she ages, but regardless, this sweet baby has lots of love to give!
-
-
Bindi: 9 month old, Female, Border Collie mix, 30lbs Bindi has a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life, so she would thrive in an active household. She’d love to meet you soon!

-
-
Stella- 3 month old, Female, Pit Bull Terrier, 20 lbs (and growing!) Stella was born at the end of July and is still very young, so it’s important that her new owners help her continue to form positive associations with people, other dogs, and new places, so she can grow into a confident and friendly adult. So far, she’s had a great start to life and is a social and happy pup. Stella still needs to learn the basics, but to be expected with a pup her age. Stella has done well with all people and animals she’s met and would blend in most households.

Tatum: 2 year old, Female, Terrier/Schnauzer mix, 30 pounds Tatum is as cute as they come. Her scruffy face and big brown eyes will make anyone fall in love with her. She has made a few dog friends at the shelter and didn’t mind being around cats either, so she could be a good choice if you have other animals in your home. Tatum’s number one goal in life is to be where her people are. She’ll be your shadow around the house and would love to be your full-time buddy!
-
-
Loretta: 6 year old, Female, Coonhound mix, 50 pounds Meet our wonderful Hound girl, Loretta! This sweet-as-pie gal knows how to give the best puppy eyes and loving looks. She came to us from our local animal control, where she was found wandering the roadway with a hurt leg. She’s all better now and ready to find a loving home! Loretta enjoys her walks and time outside, but she enjoys her time with people even more. Loretta does have the Hound voice in her, but she isn’t the type to sing too often (Hound people know what we mean!). She’s quickly become a favorite at the shelter. Come meet her and see why!
-
-
Ginger: 8 year old, Female, Cattle Dog/Chow mix, 50 pounds Ginger is a timid girl who came to us from our local animal control where she was surrendered. Depending on the person, she may need time to feel comfortable, but a nice walk or chicken treats is a quick way to become her friend. Ginger is a short and stocky girl, so her whole body tends to wiggle when she’s excited to say hello and it’s the cutest thing! Ginger can mingle with other dogs as long as they’re easy-going, but she also seems to enjoy having one-on-one time with her people. Her ideal day includes eating yummy food, sunbathing on the porch, and finding a soft bed to snooze on at the end of the day. While Ginger bonds closely with the folks she knows best, she appreciates time spent together more than an abundance of cuddling and would do great with someone looking for a low-maintenance friend.
-

He’s lived with other dogs in the past and may enjoy a dog pal in his new home. Toby is still very much a pup and will need someone willing to teach him some basics (no jumping, house-training, etc.). If you’re looking for a happy guy, Toby is your boy!

Pepper is highly food motivated and very responsive to reinforcement-based training.
-
-
Jif: 7 month old, Male, Dachshund mix, 15 pounds Jif is such a lovebug once you give him a moment to feel comfortable. While timid in new situations, he quickly warms up and enjoys being a lap dog.
