Kona
Hello KKBN!
I would like to nominate my dog, Kona, for the pet of the week.
She is a German Shepherd/ Rottweiler mix.
I rescued her in July from Portland, Oregon.
Two weeks after getting her, I found out she was pregnant and due between 24 hours and a week!
I came back home to Tuolumne and, with the amazing help of FOAC (Friends of the Animal Community), Kona delivered six beautiful and healthy puppies!
Kona is the light of my life and such a trooper! I am so proud of my pup. Oh, and she is sweet, playful, and incredibly smart!
Please consider Kona for the pet of the week and give FOAC the biggest shoutout you can!! They are such an amazing group, and their love is local to the Mother Lode.
My vet in Portland suggested I give Kona up to the Humane Society but FOAC found a solution to allow me to keep my furry friend.
