What a better way to celebrate my husband’s 38th birthday on Wednesday, August 16 than to nominate him as Hard Working Man of the week.
Our family is so blessed to him in our lives. Shane is a loving husband, extraordinary father, and dedicated Summerville Union High School history teacher. I feel privileged to have a man like Shane on my side. He believes in a marriage that is founded on trust, communication and collaboration. He cooks delicious meals, cleans the house, and always wants our family to work together.
After teaching all day, he comes home to his children to help coach, tutor and always makes time to have fun with them. My son Kent and daughter Audrey, could have never asked for a better father. As a dedicated teacher, who has been honor as teacher of the year twice in his last employment, his love for learning and education never stops in the classroom. He is always motivating our children in their education and pushes them to be hard workers. He is raising two amazing children that have him as an example of man with integrity, that is hard working and has strong moral convictions. I thank God everyday for him.
