The Cabin’s Happy Tails 03.17.25

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County and Live Oak Veterinary Hospital in Sonora to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Jinx: 1 year old, Female, Domestic Shorthair Sweet and shy Jinx enjoys calm pets, has the cutest meow (she’ll even talk a little back if you talk to her), and enjoys being the wallflower rather than the life of the party. While the other cats are chasing toys and galloping around the lobby, you can find Jinx happily relaxing in a cat tree. She came in with her very best friend Angel, and although not required, we would love to see them find a home together!

: Angel: 1 year old, Female, Shorthair Calico/Tabby Oh, sweet Angel is just that- a sweet Angel! She’s lovable, a little talkative, and open to lots of pets and chin scratches. Angel roams our lobby with the other cats without issue and tends to stick close to a particular cat friend (Jinx- also available!) rather than venturing too far throughout the day. The best way to get to know our cats is to spend time with them during open hours- come on by, they’d love to meet you!

: Charles 1 year old, 55 pounds, Male, Cattle Dog mix This handsome hunk came to us from Tuolumne County Animal Control in hopes of finding a new loving family! Charles can be very shy and timid in new situations, but give him time and you’ll see what a happy pup he truly is! Charles adores dog friends and we think he would thrive in a home with other dogs to play with and help him with his confidence. Charles is still young and learning basics, but his caretakers have him started off and are ready to pass on the baton to his new people. Come on down to the shelter to get to know this good looking pup!

: Sonic: 3 years old, Male, Terrier mix, 18 pounds Sonic is your best friend once he knows you’re safe and part of his pack, but is unsure in new situations and when meeting new people. Sonic has made so many friends with our volunteers and staff and loves them dearly, but you will need to give him a few minutes to feel at ease. Sonic seems to know a few basics about living in a home and would love to continue to learn what a true family is with you!
