Paul Skifter
Paul deserves a hard working man nomination every week, but especially this week. He is a CalFire firefighter at the Standard Station in Sonora and is currently out on a strike team protecting our community from the raging fires. Paul is familiar to sacrificing his personal time as he is a United States Naval Veteran that has completed two world tours and is now back doing what he loves, fighing fires in his local community. This week though he’s making a huge sacrifice being away for our first wedding anniversary. Paul is so hard working that even on his few and far between days off he helps his father-in-law with his ceramic tile business and offers a helping hand on his friend’s cattle ranches. He’s a big guy with a big heart. He’s my hard working man each and every day.
