I’ve had the honor of living in the Mother Lode for more than 7 years and I have been blessed sitting in this chair each morning, with my friend Bridgette waking up people who love this community and country music.  One of those people was Ken Livingston. Sadly Ken passed away unexpectedly on Saturday.  His wife Julie called Bridgette and I this morning to share the news and needless to say, we sat there in shock for a moment.    Ken aka “Boss”  called our show more than other single listener.  He kept a “Birthday Book” full of friends and family and he had so many.  He’d always call and make sure we put them on the club.   He’d come out to events and support whatever KKBN what promoting in the community.   He was also one of KKBN’s Friday Friends from 2009.   When Ken called the show, regardless of the topic,  he always had a great story to share or a joke to tell, sometimes we just couldn’t air those jokes.  He was one of the first people that called KKBN when I started to welcome me to the area…I will never forget that.   I for one know our show will not be the same.    KKBN, The Big Joe and Bridgette Morning Show and the staff at CBC would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Ken’s wife Julie, their kids and grand-kids.  Ken, you sure made a difference.   Adios Amigo.
