Congratulations to this week’s KKBN Goodie Award Winner: Lynette Roberson
Dear Big Joe and Bridget,
I am a 14 year old and my name is Shane Roberson and I would like to nominate my mother, Lynette Roberson for the Goodie of The Week Award. She is a loving mother of four and a great wife to my dad Doug. She loves me, my brother Zach, and my two sisters, Zanna and Laina with all her heart and then some. When my siblings and me need to be somewhere she goes out of her way to get us there. No matter where it is or how far away. She’s the greatest mother of all mothers. But not only does she run a household with three boys but she runs two businesses. Her and my dad run a really successful plumbing company and she owns and runs a salon by the name of Studio 3 Salon and her salon was named the Union Democrat #1 hair and nail salon in both Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties. On top of running those two businesses she cuts hair and does all the book keeping for the two businesses. She works 14 hour plus day from wakening her children up in the morning and making our lunch and!
breakfast and then coming home from work at eight at night and making my family dinner. And she still makes time to help out with the community. On Thursdays she puts together a huge dinner for the Summerville Bears Football Team. It takes lots of time and she makes it happen. During basketball season she makes a lunch for every single player on the team for the away games. She’s just a very giving and unselfish person. She always thinks of others before herself. I think that winning this award will show her that I appreciate every thing she does for me and everybody else.
