I would like to nominate Darren Miller.he is a Calaveras County CHP officer..Dareen goes way above his call of duty.three years ago we the city of angels camp had a officer that past away jared poortinga.since the passing of officer jared DARREN HAS ORGANIZED A SHOOT COMPETITION FOR THIS OFFICERS THREE KIDS..ALL THE PROCEEDS GO TO A COLLEGE FUND FOR THE KIDS..NOTHING GOES TO HIM FOR HIS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION FOR THIS OFFICER AND HIS KIDS.HE HAS THREE KIDS THAT WERE LEFT BEHIND AND EACH YEAR WE DO THE SHOOT COMPETITION ITS GOES FOR THE KIDS..HE DONE THIS OUT OF BEING KIND HEARTED AND LOVING. DARREN IS NOT FAMILY BUT BY LAW ENFORCEMENT FAMILY.HE TOOK IT UPON HIS SELF TO START THIS AND TO ORGANIZE JUST A THING..IN MY OPINION HE IS A ALL AROUND GREAT PERSON AND WELL LIKED BY MOST. SO THATS WHY HE DESERVES THE GOODIE AWARD..FD
